8. Medication Reminders, Medical Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Parenting Pilot provides medication tracking and reminder features solely as an organizational convenience for parents, guardians, and caregivers. Parenting Pilot is not a medical device, healthcare provider, pharmacy, physician, or other licensed healthcare professional, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dosing recommendations, drug-interaction advice, or emergency medical services.

All medication information entered into the application is entered and controlled by the user. Parenting Pilot does not independently verify the accuracy, appropriateness, safety, completeness, or medical suitability of information entered by a user.

Users must consult a qualified physician, pharmacist, or other licensed healthcare professional before administering any medication to a child and must follow the medication label, prescription instructions, and directions provided by the child's healthcare professional. Users should never increase, decrease, repeat, combine, discontinue, or otherwise alter a child's medication or dosage based upon information, reminders, notifications, or the absence of a notification from Parenting Pilot.

The medication reminder feature must not be relied upon as the sole method for determining whether or when medication should be administered. Users are responsible for independently confirming the correct child, medication, dosage, timing, method of administration, and whether a dose has already been given before administering any medication.

Parenting Pilot cannot guarantee that reminders or notifications will be delivered, displayed, received, or acted upon at the intended time. Notifications may be delayed, duplicated, interrupted, disabled, or prevented by device settings, internet or cellular connectivity, operating-system restrictions, software errors, synchronization issues, user error, or other circumstances beyond the application's control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parenting Pilot and its owners, developers, creators, affiliates, employees, contractors, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any injury, illness, adverse reaction, overdose, underdose, missed dose, duplicate dose, medication interaction, allergic reaction, hospitalization, death, loss, damage, or other consequence arising from or related to the use, misuse, inability to use, or reliance upon the medication tracking or reminder features.

The parent, legal guardian, or caregiver remains solely responsible for all decisions concerning a child's medication and healthcare.

If there is any uncertainty regarding a medication, dosage, possible interaction, missed dose, duplicate dose, adverse reaction, or other medical concern, the user should contact a qualified healthcare professional or appropriate emergency medical service immediately rather than relying on Parenting Pilot.

By using the medication tracking or reminder features, the user acknowledges and agrees that these features are provided solely as organizational tools and are not a substitute for professional medical judgment, advice, diagnosis, treatment, or supervision.
